  • News No More Figaro Fries!!!

So the one thing I most look forward to eating when I go to the Magic Kingdom is Figaro Fries! Even after they changed them, they were still delicious.

Well, turns out that they no longer serve them at the Villagwe Haus (or anywhere else)! they recently changed the menu (as in a week ago... if we'd gone at the beginning of the trip MAYBE we would have been able to have them).

It is now a pizza and salad place (with meatball subs and chicken parm after 3 p.m.) and the menu is still being totally formed, according to the CM we talked to. But no more figaro fries! Sad sad day.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Last time I was there, which was months ago, the menu was exactly as you describe. That said, you could still order them. They just weren't on the menu.

The pizza menu is not new. The chicken parm sandwich is however. It was so new, it's not even on the menu yet and only offered after 3PM.

Figaro fries are indeed gone. The only option on the menu is regular french fries; even the modified Figaro Fries which appeared a while ago are gone now. The CM confirmed this week was the end of Figaro Fries. However, she did say it was only a menu test, so perhaps they will be back. But, as of now the fries are no longer available.

Dang, never did get to try them!

Figaro Fries were the BEST! NOT happy they're gone.

For those not in the know, Figaro Fries were french fries smothered with cheese sauce, bacon bits, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing. So bad for you but oh so good!

It looks like someone couldn't decide between fries, or the most fattening salad ever.

I would have passed anyway on the fat dipped in fat, covered in fat, then smothered in it too.

How would you even go about eating those??

That would probably be the reason that they took them off the menu. They were to unhealthy. XP

No offense to those who enjoyed these fries but judging by the picture, I'm not so shocked they decided to swipe it for the chicken sandwich.

If you have them once during the trip, as a meal, I don't think they are that bad for you. I'd be willing to bet that the fries as a meal is probably better for you than the chicken parm and fries.

But to each his or her own I guess. They will be missed.

This Chicken Parm comes with fries? That sounds sort of odd.

                          ((sorry off topic))

I learned about the Figaro fries on this board, so naturally I had to to try them after the rav reviews. My husband and I shared an order.

Meh, we thought they were gross. :yuck: In fact we didn't finish them.
I personally won't miss them, but sorry to those who will.

We've made them at home, and it tastes exactly like the restaurant version. At a fraction of the cost, natch
