So I've been pondering this for a while, and still am having difficulty coming up with an answer. Obviously, Magic Kingdom is a favorite among most, however besides there, which of the other 3 parks is the best. Animal Kingdom is good..but Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are superior. So, which is better, Hollywood Studios or EPCOT? (and if you feel its Animal Kingdom, then theres nothing wrong with that either).

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Hear me out...I have hated DHS for years, but have recently gorwn to love it, especially at night. The setting there at night rivals MK.
Yes you have the standard RNRC and Tower rides. But Fantasmic, TSMania, and the Playhouse Disney area. Oh wait forgot the AI Experience too...the the streetmosphere people...and....
Really this park is growing and becoming a great find....expecially after the sun goes down.

Animal Kingdom. Here's my top 10 why:
- The animals attract me more than anything
- The safari is a very unique experience and easy reridable throughout the day and getting a new experience out of each ride
- The lush landscaping in the Oasis creates a type of setting not found anywhere else in WDW. It makes me feel like I'm leaving reality behind and going into a beautiful dream.
- Expedition Everest is my favorite ride. The lift going up shows nearly all of WDW, the ride is intense, the stucture takes your breath away, and I've had very fond memories there.
- DINOSAUR is my second favorite ride, and it gets me frightened every time. It's a true E-Ticket.
- Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Musical are 2 must see shows, and are something I'd expect to see on Broadway. Very innovative.
- The trails of Discovery Island weaving around the Tree of Life offer views of the Tree's magnificent carvings, unique animals, and dozens of photo ops.
- Africa and Asia's realism in theme set it apart from any land in WDW. You really feel like you are in an African town centered around a tourism. Reminds me of something I'd see in Tokyo DisneySea's detailed lands.
- Those little details like the statue across from Everest mimicking the mountain's points, the worn down posters alongside the bathroom walls, the parking lot turned tourist trap in Dinoland USA, and the teasing dragon rock waterfall hidden by vegetation.
- The room for potential in the park spark's an interest in me, and intrigues me to keep an eye out on the park. I know its future will be bright.

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
I would say EPCOT.
But, DHS ,a s stated by someone above, is getting better. It was a park that if I was limited on time would skip, and I never spent a full day there. But My last visit in May, I did spend the entire time there and had a great time. The Toy Story Mania and the Playhouse Disney area was such a great improvement to the park. The After Party they had during EMHs was so fun for the children, with the characters all out and about with them. It was such a pleasure!Fratsor Sister - Delta Mu Chi Alpha

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
My favorites, in order:
1. Epcot
2. AK
3. MK
4. DHS
And the reason why Epcot is my #1.
1. Spaceship Earth
2. My family has such a good time doing the Kim Possible Adventures.
3. The countries and their own unique and different experiences.
4. The Food and Wine Festival - No explanation needed.
5. Variety of food choices over the other parks.
6. The shows in each country.
7. Santa storytime during the holidays.
8. Test Track - My youngest daughters first introduction and start of her addiction to thrill rides.
9. The Fountain of Nations
10. The shopping. :P

1. AK
2. Epcot
3. MK
4. DHS
I would also just like to agree with everyone that DHS is getting a lot better and after my last trip I really have a much higher opinion of the place. In all honest, below AK it's all pretty even for me. Even MK with all it's flaws has a certain charm about it!

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
I am looking forward to seeing the improved Disney's Hollywood Studios, last time I was there Pixar Place wasn't there and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was closed. When that ride's open, DHS moves up in the standings, but maybe still behind Epcot based on my last visit.

I like MGM more but Epcot is better. MK is def. my fave though.Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
MK will always and forever be my number 1. It's just such a traditional experience for me like from when I was a kid.
2. DHS - I love the rides here and the general atmosphere.
3. Epcot - there are some classic favorites at this park which along with how good the food is makes it number 2 on my list. I just don't enjoy this park as much as the others. The WS just doesn't do it for me. I'm starting to enjoy it more as I get older.
4. AK (Duh nothing else was left) I've never spent an entire day at this park. We always do the main rides and leave. Maybe it's because it is usually at the end of our trip but after riding what we want once (EE twice) we're ready to leave.

Seriously, it just occurs to me that I've never seen the Studios at night. Nor DAK, but that one is understandable. I always liked the footage of the night Studios that I saw on TV around it's opening, but everytime I've been I basically leave no later than sundown.
Anyway, I'm going to pick Epcot, because it's very Astro-Tomorrowland and proud of it. I hope they never replace that dated 80s silver/blue signage around the entrance. If only I had been able to ride Journey Into Imagination. Le sigh.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are just about equal for me. I could have flip-flopped the order of those two. I like both parks ... One doesn't stand out that much more than the other.sigpic

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?
if you think its a water park..which one? (ive actually never been to Typhoon Lagoon, just Blizzard Beach..it was cool, but way too crowded, not all that fun)
and in the general consensus... RnRC and Tower of Terror are absolutely amazing..the problem i have with Hollywood Studios is that theres just not that much to do since its a small park (but sizewise bigger than MK, theres a fun fact) and its getting old, cause whenever im there im done with the park by about 6:30 or 7..however Toy Story Mania is the greatest thing since sliced bread....and as for EPCOT, well in my opinion its the least Disney of the 4 parks..but has an amazing overall experience..walking through the countries is fun, and Test Track and Soarin' just make my day there..and Animal Kingdom is Animal Kingdom..its dull, good concept but doesnt do it for me
my order:
1. Magic Kingdom
2. Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT)
3. Hollywood Studios (very close behind)
4. Animal Kingdom
