  • [Question] How many of you have seen the Water Art at teh parks?

Disney Parks just released a cool video of the Water Art features that their Custodial Cast members create each morning at WDW.

If you would like to see the video of this click here.

I would love to see any photos you guys have of this feature. I will add my full picture of Goofy later on.

Has anyone got a photo of Tink this way? The video talks about it, but I have never seen it in person.

I have to dig it out, but I got a pic of Buzz Lightyear from Hollywood Studios when I was there last Thanksgiving. I Remeber stanidng there watching as the guy drew it, trying to figure out what he was doing, then all of a sudden recognizing it. It was funny because only me and my wife were paying attention to him, and at the end he came over and apologized because it was his first time doing Buzz and had the dimensions a little off.

I was at MVMCP on Dec 1, heading from the Teacups to the Barnstormer, and there was a sweeper wandering in circles. There isn't much light there (between the Teacups and the entrance to Toontown) so we went to see what he was doing. We got to watch most of his drawing. One closeup, and one of the artist (with his permission) with his artwork. He seemed a bit surprised that I wanted him in the picture with the art.

That's really cute. Never knew they did this at WDW.

Why not at Disneyland? Space, maybe?

That's really neat! I don't remember seeing any last visit! I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for that next time I go! I love it when Disney does little stuff like this. It's the details that count!

We visited just after Thanksgiving and seeing this was definitely on my to do list!! While we were visiting Downtown Disney, I noticed a crowd and sure enough a cast member was 'drawing' with a broom and water!!! Amazing.....no pictures just video...............next I want to see the confetti ones. More MAGIC!!!!
Wonder what they use in the water on a hot sunny day?

I think the water art is pretty cool. During one of the MVMCP I went to, a custodial host drew Mickey, Goofy, and Donald on Main Street. There was a crowd watching, and they all seemed to enjoy watching him

we struck up a conversation with the guy we watched draw Mickey. He said they are given a choice of ways to entertain/interact with guests. And he chose this. He said he liked it better than blowing bubbles. LOL
