[Question] Buying a watch on Main St

I've heard comments made before about custom made watches you can buy on main street. Can anyone shed a little more light on this??

There's a store that has multiple types of watches that you can get various artworks from a catalog put on the face. I've never done it but always check out the artwork available when I visit, maybe something will catch my eye one day.

Alright I visited this shop in late august It's in the building where the penny arcade used to be in known today as "The Main Street Cinema".

Are we talking stupidly expensive or a fair price for the quality of watch? Does anyone know a website that has examples at all?
