  • [Question] WDW booking "perks" for 2010?

Hey there! I'm new to the board (I posted an intro in another section), and my wife, daughter and I are going to WDW in August, 2010, more than likely in the slow period, the week of 8/16 or so.

Has there been any word yet on perks for booking 2010 packages, like the free dining or extra days free?

Just wanted to find out, so I can figure out when to book the trip.

Generally, after New Years is when most of the "new deals for this year!!1" information comes out (in my experience).

We were in WDW this past August during the same time you guys are planning: and I DEFINITELY wouldn't consider it the "slow season", but I'm not a hardened WDW regular, so.. hahahaha.

Me and my family are booking a trip somewhere near the end of October through the beginning of December. I so hope the get 3 nights free hotel deal returns next year.

There is no "slow season" at WDW anymore. August is brutally hot/humid and usually pretty crowded.

Last year August turned out to be the time that free dining was offered. It is also the value season for some resorts. It was for Pop Century. I was at Disney World last August. I always book a room only reservation. I always have the option of switching to a package, if a good deal comes up as my vacation date gets closer. You just have to wait and see.
