Re: Filming of Christmas parade
That filming should take 10 minutes since that is what they sho of the parade on TV. The rest is flusf from the Disney channel fabricated stars
This yearly tv show has become the most anticipated disney infomercial of all times..

I am wondering what celebrity will be performing over there in the Magic Kingdom too.
I saw Demi Lovato and Stevie Wonder performing live last week at Disneyland.

Re: Filming of Christmas parade
And that filming takes longer than you'd think because they send each float down Main Street individually.
I stopped really watching the parade years ago though because it's just the same thing over and over and over and over again and a bunch of tweeny Disney Channel "stars" I don't have a clue as to who they are.
I remember when the parade was truly aired LIVE on Christmas Day.

Re: Filming of Christmas parade
Do you need a special ticket including park admission to go during the tapings or can you just show up and everything should be like a normal day there?Alex

Last year, for example, my daughter wanted to see Miley and when we got to the park they had a line formed in the rose garden but they weren't announcing it so we asked a couple CM's and got directed to the line. We had a spot right in front of the stage because we simply asked. They are either not very organized or they don't want millions of people flocking to different areas for the big celebrities, so always ask.
Also, they tape ALL day, be prepared to stand in once place for HOURS. We waited in the Miley line for 3 hours and then another hour in front of the castle. So pack drinks and snacks if you're brave enough. LOL

No special ticket needed. However if you want to see someone specific don't be afraid to ask questions.

Re: Filming of Christmas parade
because there is a christmas party friday night, they have added tapings on thursday. you do need a ticket for some tapings because they are before the park opens. I think fridays tapings start around 7:30 am in order to get everything done. not sure about the times for the other days.
