    [Question] Presents Over the Partners Statue [Merged]

    Hey. I saw this picture in the newest update on MiceChat.

    At the WDW Christmas Parade taping, presents were used to cover the Walt and Mickey partner statue. Was this because they were going to reveal something? Or just to simply cover it up for television?

    I don't know if there's a really good reason to cover it just so it won't show. Can someone enlighten me?

        I agree, it puts a bad taste in your mouth.

        Maybe they covered it to hide his eyes from what WDC has created- The Jonas Brothers... seems plausible.

          It does looks pretty messed up. I noticed that they built a little stage there, I would think that it would look pretty awkward if someone was standing that high with a statue right there.

            I saw the presents thing too, I thought it looked really weird...

            I also don't remember seeing a christmas tree, but it was a couple of weeks ago and maybe there's one up now?

                  The Partners area was made into a stage for Kris Allen's (this year's American Idol winner... I think... I don't watch AI) performance.

                    Did anyone else notice that the partners statue is covered with a pile of presents in the ABC christmas parade? its kind of disheartening as I get the overall impression theyre trying to distance themselves from the man the company is named after.
