Re: Tables in Wonderland - New Restaurant Additions

I seriously am thinking about joining this again...the dinner inside the Great Movie Ride almost pushed me over the edge, but then it sold out.

Still, I do miss that nice discount eating out....
    It's a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah...Tip for Today!

How much does it cost? And where do you get it? More important those who have used it before... is it worth it?

It used to be called the "Disney Dining Experience" and given my history with it, yes, it is worth it. People I know who also have the card speak highly of its value.

                Something to note:

It's only available to Annual Passholders and Florida Residents only.

                Pricing:

-- General Membership (Florida Residents ONLY): $100.00
                -- Annual/Seasonal Passholders' Rate: $75.00
                --
Add a second membership for your spouse or partner for only $50 more.

does it give you anything like priority seating?

In my opinion, this really is the best kept secret. I LOVE my membership - I'll pay the annual fee with just a couple of really nice meals and some serious drinking!

Thanks for bringing this up, I never heard of this before and didn't know it even existed. Probably cause I am not an AP or Florida resident. Don't AP holders get a discount on food and merchandise already though?

So is that all day at Tokyo Dining or lunch only? Epcot restaurants always have a lovely habit of ignoring any and all discounts :P Cast member discount? "Sorry we don't take that." Tables in Wonderland? "Sorry, no." Annual Pass discount? "No, not here"

Allears says there's now 18% gratuity. Does that mean that your going to spend most of that 20% on a tip?

Does it really matter? I mean, were you planning on stiffing your server? Sure it kind of takes the whole idea of tipping based on the level of service and flushes it down the toilet, but usually I'd be tipping 17-20% anyhow...

Tables in Wonderland is great. The discount is off the ENTIRE bill including adult beverages! The tipping was a recent change, but even so you are saving 2% total. You get a diacount on the fee if you are an annual passholder. I wish it helped with priority seating!!!!! My advise....it is worth it if you remeber the tip was added!!! We have even had a Server remind us!
