  • WDW Virtual Visit is now up!

Someone had time on their hands. This site was done by Main Street USA of the WDWMagic boards. Speaking of which, Main Street is the only land up so far, though the Railroad is open

I'm not really impressed... it's a cool idea, but the navigation seems sloppy, the picture quality is blury, and the fact that you will have to pay to view the videos does not impress me one bit.

It was a good idea, it still is. But it's not being done the best it can be done.

AMEN! has ANYONE figured out a direct way to get from the Main Entrance to Main St. I keep running around in circles on Town Sq

Umm... didn't you notice the captions on the top that have comments or directions? Then there is the magical invention of the forward button.

Now only if this same effort was made for the rest of WDW and ALL of the other Disney parks. Thanks for the link!

                    Hey,

I don't know, but I think your reply is kind of harsh. It seems as though you have a website, so one would think you would understand how hard it can be to create and run one! Add to this the website being a "virtual relality" type, this makes things even harder. Unless you wallk each step yourself and take the most perfect picture ever, it's never going to look perfect.

I think the site is GREAT, keep up the work!

I think I'm harsh because I know the guy who created it, and I know he's capable of doing so much more. He's just... not. I don't know why he's not putting all his effort into it. His site isn't up to par with the other things he's done.

I agree. I like the idea to give you a general concept but it isn't the best. I would like to see it and hear it, but then again I would simply rather be in the park.

Virtual tours are hard to make and take some time and the less moving the better. My high school did this with our TV studio the other year. (I would link you, but it won't let me. Click Academics-Eagan AM- Eagan Am Virtual Tour. http://www.rschooltoday.com/se3bin/clientgenie.cgi)

For me a visual picture is better than no picture though.

It just got updated today with the Hub. Apparently the site will be updated with a new land every 21 days and will be complete in July.
Personally, I wonder if they have the other parks in the works.
