  • [Question] Boardwalk Villas Any Suggestions

My wonderful bride just gave me the go-ahead to start planning our next trip to WDW. We have stayed at our home Saratoga Sprins 4 times and BLT 1 time. We are looking to stay at BWV to try something new. My questions are probably unlimited but I'll stick with a few. Do you know why it is less points to stay at BWV rather than my home of SS in a one bedroom. Is there any specific room request or section request that I should do. Any other suggestions are definately needed and appreciated. Thanks

Depending on when you're going, call ASAP. I know if it's for Food and Wine, you're probably not getting a room there, but if you are planning the 7 month window you should be ok. I also have read (but haven't tried yet, we're still getting the hang of ressies through DVC) to book a room at your home 11 months out, then change it at the 7 month so you at least have a place to stay. If it's booked, then you can be put on the waitlist.

We're on the waitlist for the BWV now. I don't expect to get it, but wishful thinking and all!

We are looking into the week before President's week Feb 2011. I guess I'm lookin for a room number to request and why. Like close to bus stop and pool or close to walkway to Epcot and bus stop or in a quiet section close to....etc.

Well the layout of the rooms there are some that may be better than others but not by much, Just make sure you add the note to the request when you call it into the DVC line. All of the DVC rooms are located further away from the Bus stop than the hotel rooms are, however some are closer to the boat dock. :ap:
