    Re: Blizzard Beach?

Blizzard Beach is wonderful. The theme-ing is what one would expect from late 80s/early 90s Imagineering, which is basically amazing. It's targeted at teens, so lots of big slides, but there's a great young kids section and adults can still enjoy it. Argh - it's worth going for the theme-ing alone. I MISS BLIZZARD BEACH SO MUCH!

        Re: Blizzard Beach?

Not sure how much it's worth it in Feb - that will depend a bit on your tolerance for temperatures.. which tends to hinge greatly on where you are from

But if you are agreeable with the weather for pool time... the Disney Water parks are world class.

As for pix.. it's hard to beat the power of the internet as a whole... try putting 'blizzard beach' into Google Images for a wide variety.

            Re: Blizzard Beach?

I'll be honest, Blizzard Beach is a first rate water park, but the theming of being in the snow in a bathing suit and swimming really played on my mind. Personally, I really preferred Typhoon Lagoon. But that's just my opinion. And as I said, Blizzard Beach is first rate. And I'm sorry for starting so many sentences with conjunctions.

              Re: Blizzard Beach?

I loved Blizzard Beach!! I worked there earlier this year and it was an amazing park to work at.
I couldn't think of any other water park like it.
Also, be sure to try Wintersummerland mini golf next door to it.

I don't worry too mush about the cold, I enjoy it a lot , since I have a heart condition and I can't stand a hot weather.

So I have be in places wit air conditioner when its too hot.
