It looks slower than I expected, but I'm sure it seems faster when you're on it.

I didn't know they were using such long trains... I thought it was more like matterhorn and used trains 2 cars long. The ride looks very fun... Just one more reason to go to WDW I guess.

Looking at that Mine Coaster going back through the tunnel looks like a rider could hit their hands on the rocks there if they aren't careful.
            Thanks for the video.

Not at all. To say that Everest is like the Matterhorn is like saying Space Mountain is like Rock'n'Rollercoaster because they are both coasters in the dark.

I suggest looking at the pics about the ride, I think you'd love to see the differences (sweedish vs. asian theme).

Definitely gonna be a fast coaster once it opens. Not as slow as BTM or SM. Gonna be awesome. Can't wait for CM previews in the very neasr future.

...and the point of your post is?

People like me might like ("need") the video since I'm a couple thousand miles away, although of course everyone should just think of you.

That drops also facing backwards... So it'll seem faster as well.

Unless I wasn't looking close enough, the train does NOT go backwards during said drop. The engine part of the train is supposed to be the back, because it is a "steam donkey". Then again, maybe I wasn't looking close enough, so..
