Norwegian beer is very expensive. A lot of Norwegians (also Swedes) go to Denmark to drink over the weekend for just that reason, so the Carlsberg is authentic in that respect.

Although if you ask me, they ought to sell mead. I mean, come on.

Norweigan beer isn't expensive - it's that it's expensive to drink in Norway (Taxes).

Most of the breweries in Europe have consolidated.. the Danes own just about everything

In Norway each region has their local beer (much like Germany) that is the dominate or 'hometown' brand from where they started. But you can get them all over.

Most of the Norweigan beers are good clean pilsners... it's what a Budwiser should be. Clean, cold, refreshing, but doesn't leave you with the runs or a hangover.

Get the mainstreams in there... Ringness, Hansa or even Aass. Both Ringness and Hansa are very easy drinking beers.

I've had Carlsberg it's alright, but I agree I would want an actual Norwegian beer in there to enjoy, and possibly make me howl at the moon..

          Good morning, son
          In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
          It was pain
          Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

World Showcase is like a sort of Worlds Fair. The whole point is to sample the flavors of each country (food, drink, shopping, even meet the native people).

Serving a US mega-brand like BV in Norway is just plain sad. If they want to offer a sampling of US wines and beers, they can do that near the American Adventure or in Future World.

While the entire WDW resort is becoming increasingly generic, I particularly hate seeing this happen in World Showcase.

Club Cool is essentially that for people who can't drink.

My parents got one drink from each country and they split each. Still, they were pretty hammered by IllumiNations.
