  • [Question] WDW May trip questions

So we're leaving next Sunday the 15th for WDW, and real excited about that. A couple of quick questions: will the Main St. Electrical Parade be showing every night at Magic Kingdom? Also, if we go to the second showing of Fantasmic! at DHS at 10:30, how long in advance should you show up to get decent seats?
    Thanks!

Not sure about the electrical parade, but to answer your question about Fantasmic...You've gotta get there early. When I first saw it, I was forced to sit way in the back because there were so many people lined up waiting for the amphitheater gate to open up. I guess it just depends on if you get lucky and find a good seat, but if you want a guarantee that you'll have on, you've gotta get there ahead of the crowd.

All runnings of the Main Street Electrical Parade are listed online on the Magic Kingdom calendar.

The electrical parade will be running every night. Typically it's at 9 & 11 with Wishes at 10 and the Magic Memeories and You show at 9:45 and 10:30. People start showing up around 7:30 for Main Street and the Hub seating for the 9pm parade. I tell every single guest I talk to that if their kids can make it to the 11 I'd suggest skipping the 9 parade and walking into the hub around 9:30 for the 9:45 MM&Y show (which is EPIC and not to be missed), Wishes, and the 11 parade. The 11 parade is so much quieter than the 9 and I typically notice more interaction with the guests during the later parade.

On a side note be nice to the Crowd control and Glow cart people.

I don't know if this option is still available, but when I was there in 2006, we bought a dinner package that included seating for Fantasmic. It worked out fine and we got good seats. Check into it.
