    This stuff makes me sad

ORDDU: Certain individuals in Life are always looking for a reason to hate and the devil gives them plenty of reasons to do just that. These so called Christians are an embarrassment to Christianity. Pay them no attention because that's what they thrive on.

I laughed a little at the banner.

      Thanks for the FABULOUS AD!

I'm a Catholic and highly against this. This makes christianity look incredibly bad, even though some parts of Christianity consider it a sin to promote hatred against people like this. I worked gay days before at WDW and met many nice individuals. Why hate against nice people?

and I have no clue why "Right-Wing" was added. Someone is a little biased.

          Re: Gay Day Haterz

I normally don't get involved in these sort of issues but spending $7,000 to warn people of Gay Days is a massive waste of money by any church. All the money that religious organizations put into the so-called "combating" of homosexuality could be better spent on other aspects of the church that really do serve a purpose to humanity such as helping the homeless and the hungry which is more critical during this time considering the state of the economy.

Hopefully this is all that needs to be said on the topic.

I definitely agree with you toonaspie

It's almost like "Thank god for dead soldiers" thing from certain Baptist churches. It's ridiculous and their going against their own beliefs.

Also, when other "branches" of christianity look at what these people are doing, they shake their heads. This is not right.

I thought the banner was like a giant advertisement as well. Isn't bad publicity just as effective as good?

              It's still infuriating.

This really pisses me off... "If children witness any sort of homosexual relation including kissing and hugging, they fear it will turn the innocent children gay"

.....Really???? Bah!! Does the church have any decency anymore??

Exactly. Many left-of-center communities hold this opinion as well.

Both blanket statements "watch out for those bad homosexuals" and "those no good right wingers" do not help the discussion (thank goodness no one on this thread made either!).

I cannot make a comment on which is worse, but both are born of some type of dislike/hatred...that's never a good thing.

                      Howdy folks,

First, you've all been really good in here so far, but we try to stay away from political and religious discussion on our main boards (especially in the parks sections).

However, please feel free to start up this discussion in the MiceChat Gold Debate Lounge. This sort of thing is par for the course there.

Thank you all so much for your help and understanding,

                      Dusty
