  • [Question] Fourth of July week

How busy is WDW during the 4th of July week! Planning a trip and wondering if this is a good time or if the last week of June would be better? We know all about the heat and humidity we have been there plenty of times during the summer just wondering specifically about the 4th week. Also do they do anything special for the 4th?

Thanks for any help or advice

    Re: Fourth of July week

Well I arrived on the 29th of June and left on the 6th of July. Lines weren't bad in my opinion. But whatever you do DON'T GO TO MK ON THE 4th OF JULY! Any other park is fine but don't go to MK. It was a nightmare me and my mother could barely move. It took us 30 minutes to get out of the park (good crowd control though) and then we were stuck in trafic for an hour on our way back to All Stars (it was funny though we were the only people on the bus :P). So basically yeah it's an OK time just avoid MK on the 4th of July.

      Re: Fourth of July week

The 4th of July is the 2nd Busiest time here in Orlando only trumped by Christmas. I always tell people you haven't seen 4th of July Fireworks until you have seen it at Epcot or MK.

While the crowds are crazy, if you plan to just wait in the park until most people leave it is really nice.
