  • Timekeeper/COP/Flying Saucers?

Okay, I have kind of a few seperate questions here, but to save space, I stuck them all in the same thread, because they're all related.

What's the latest on taking out either Timekeeper or COP for some sort of Flying Saucers attraction? Any news or developments? What's the status of Timekeeper and COP right now?

I really wish it could be just a plain Saucers ride, but I heard it'll have a toony theme.

ORDDU: There have been rumors about a flying saucers ride coming to Tomorrowland to replace--either TIME KEEPER or Carousel of Progress--for some time. But there is nothing new to update you with, duckling. However, my sisters and I feel that such a move would be a giant step backwards. Tomorrowland needs something more original and creative than flying saucers--whether they're themed to a movie or not!

since i wasn't even born when the flying saucers were around it would be cool if they came back in some form because the look like fun but i don't want COP to be removed. what is timekeeper?

Timekeeper is a Circlevision film with animatronics in WDW, it's been playing since around 1995.

I think they'd be fun if they had some other type of motion control than just bouncing your body up and down. If you actually had levers that would make you spin or control your direction, they could be fun. But the old system of just riding on an air cushion and bouncing around? Feh.
