[Question] Looking for Soarin' waiting line music - Help please!

My apologies in advance if I put this in the wrong forum. I'm new here.

I'm looking for the piece of music that plays while you are waiting in line in Epcot at Soarin'. I'm talking about the New Age / Space Music type music that plays in the hall where the 8-10 large pieces of impressionistic artwork cycle through. Its very ethereal (not orchestral) and I believe mainly synthesizer and string based.

Does anyone have any idea what it is? When I've done a search for "Music of Soarin'" usually it comes up with music from different movie sountracks (The Right Stuff, etc...). That's not what I'm looking for.

Thank you in advance for any direction you can give me.

Sorry I can't be helpful, b/c I don't know - but if you find out if they sell artwork of the interior queue, please let me know! I really love the artwork and have looked for it many places.

I have the music for the actual attraction, just not the queue.

Is the queue music at Epcot different than at California Adventure? That's what I'd like to know.

I believe the music IS different in DCA. They do not have the hall of impressionistic paintings like in Epcot. Epcot's Soarin' is part of The Land pavillion. The paintings reflect that theme (not aviation). DCA's Soari'n has a hall where you look at photographs of important airplanes, rockets, and flights that have happened in California. The music is different.

Search the internet for "Olympic Fanfare". I think that might be it. It sounds like it.

I know what you are talking about. You're looking for the music composed specifically for the interactive games, not the queue. It is extremely doubtful you will find it online, to my knowledge it has not been released.

Why would you say it is specifically compoed for GAMES? There are no games present at all in the area I heard the music. It is heard in the hall where the giant changing artwork pictures are hung.

I will check out "Olympic Fanfare" but that doesn't sound right to me (I think that was composed for horns by John Williams).

The music I'm looking for sounds like a cross between Jonn Serrie and David Arkenstone (it's not either one of those artists though).

                        Thanks again for any suggestions.

I don't know who Michale Iceburg is, but I willcheck it out - Thanks.

Why do you think it is his music?

EDIT: OK - I just did some research on him. Wikipedia had a fairly lengthy article on him, but did not mention him doing any attraction music. Going from the articles desription, it doesn't sound like his style. He seems to have been a more uptempo type arranger/performer.

The Epcot Soarin' music is very ethereal and "floaty".

Those giant changing pictures were originally supposed to be interactive games, and every once in a while they will be up and running, but with so many people trying to play simultaneously it just ends up glitching a lot.

Those changing pictures you see ARE games. They just were not in operation when you walked by. However, even when not in operation, the software that runs the games changes the pictures and plays the music.

So, as I said, unless you can find out who wrote the games and chose or composed the music, you're not going to get anywhere here. But good luck!
