I love the tech and I'm sure for little kids it will be great....but don't know how comfortable I'd be going through the whole thing as a young adult
    Happy Halloween!!!

I'm 18, I don't know what you would consider that, but I consider myself a young adult and my parents asked me if I was actually gonna go see this when we go in december, and my friend who is going with us looked at me and we looked at my parents and said "Of course!" Disney is about the kid inside you. I'm so excited for the Fantasyland expansion. My two favorite princesses Ariel and Belle are getting attractions! This is gonna be amazing and so what if you get a few looks from parents when your in there without a child. Walt wanted all of us to experience Disney through the eyes of a child in one way or another

I'm sure it will draw many people but also it's something if I ever did..it would just be once not like a ride were I'd go on it...1,000 times in my life

ORDDU: The nice thing about going to Disney theme parks is that you get to throw off the pretentious side of life--where you don't have to act like others might expect you to act in other situations outside the park. It's a shame that so many people allow their attitudes and preferences to be molded by a few negative attitudes that often dictate the behavior of so many.

ORWEN: We say to you, JarrodDragon, let yourself enjoy something beautiful without feeling guilty about it--or without being influenced by any of the negative attitudes that so many others are a slave to. Belle would be ever so glad to meet you, too!

this definitely reminds me of the idea behind Turtle Talk with Crush. I just figured it was a meet and greet in her house type thing, nothing like what was seen in the video. There's no footage of what happens when the show ends, does Belle leave and then the audience leaves? Does she stick around for photo ops?

I guess I'll have to wait until after nov. 19th when the youtube vids start surfacing.

What a massive dissapointment. I thought they would at LEAST TRY and make it appealing to adults with more theatricality and not have adults be bored to death. This looks like a kindergarten class/PBS special! What an embrassment! The Beast's castle does NOT look like 1700s Colonal France. It looks like a mall. The Library dosen't even have a ceiling! Ikea looking bookshelves, blank windows, no propping in the Library. The Wardrobe room looks like teh hallway to a hotel convention center. Again, modern wallls and building style with DECORATIONS that LOOK LIKE they belong in B&B. Completly unimmersive. Wish we coulda gotten the original show meant for Paris.

The video is only 3 minutes long. I'm sure there is much more to the show. It looks pretty authentic to me. The lack of ceiling I'm sure is from the lighting they use in the show.

Was definitely expecting something much more interesting than Turtle Talk with Belle... This definitely looks like something I'll do once just so I can see it for myself, but would then be totally satisfied never doing again.

just saw the full video on YouTube about the cast preview for the attraction. There's way too much storytelling involved with roles and prop signs. We we the audience needs is storytelling from the Wardrobe, not her just giving out roles and we need luminare and Belle giving us stories from their experiences in the enchanted castle. Build on the story of Beauty and the beast with untold stories that are varied so that you get a combination of different stories on multiple visits to the attraction. I'm not asking for 10 stories that are different but a handful that are different and gives the character Belle more life than just repeating the same reactions and quotes every short show. So far the design and walkthrough is a hit. The miss is the approach in story telling.

I feel they almost got it right in terms of how the characters in the rooms interact with the audience. My opinion of course.

No, it's not just you. The idea of kids entertaining their parents doesn't belong in Disney for a variety of reasons. Period. It's not that it's a bad idea, but it's not what you go to Disney to experience and pay a hundred dollars a day for. And even if you do want to do that, don't you think that the props should at least be new custom props, not the same cardboard cut outs they used for Storytelling with Belle a few years ago?

Come on, this isn't up to par and you know it. The queue is excellent, the end product is crap. This would be akin to walking through the queue for the Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland, only to find at the end it's simply a meet and greet with Indy and kids re-telling Indy's adventures. You really think this is what Disney should be? Really? REALLY? Come on. And seriously, what a let down that would be.

Disney is about making adventures come alive and having fun together. Not watching your own or someone else's kids re-tell a very low budget version of the adventure.

Bottom line: Cardboard cutouts don't strike anyone as "immersive theming."

This should have been a Beauty and the Beast dark ride.

                            Light Magic, 2012

It's a $1000/hr. Daycare center, not a Disney attraction. Damn marketing department chasing buzzwords like "interactive", saving a fortune by not building an actual ride. Awful. So tacky, it makes Under New Management look like the Brookings Institution.

                              You Tell 'em! lol

The only way this attraction can suddenly attract people that are older than 5 yrs old is to give Belle and Luminere, not sure if i spell his name right, the ability to tell a series of maybe 5 random stories around their tales in the enchanted castle. Almost like fillers and extra "deleted" scenes but more so spoken stories that Belle can tell. She loves gushing about a story she just read and what's better than hearing a story from Belle herself.

The series of stories can be short and you will almost never get the same story twice if you try to do the attraction twice in one day. It's random on what story you get. It would be the same as the skippers on the jungle cruise learning a script and then retelling the same facts over and over again. Same with belle and luminere.

As for the wardrobe she can do a q&a with the guests waiting to get in. Pick someone out and talk about fashion with the girls and comment on any "princesses" in the group waiting to see Belle. Her passing out "roles" is such a WASTE of her amazing electronic talents!!! A WASTE!

And I would love for Maurice to be heard in the house from down in the basement, working on something. Maybe to even go as far as to push smoke out of the bottom of the house window meaning something didn't work like he wanted it to.

If they went all out and created an Enchanted Castle room where everything is truly alive (like the Tiki Room), that would be one thing. Adults standing around while toddlers stomp across the room holding placards in front of their face?

You know, they tried the whole "interactive" thing with Light Magic, and from what I've seen, I'll take Light Magic. Kids dancing in a circle with Irish Folk Dancers at least has Irish Folk Dancers.

Oh – and Belle was living in that cottage since she was at least 12 months old?
She must have a really good memory. “There goes the baker with his tray like
always, the same old bread and rolls to sell, every morning just the same, since
the morning that we came to this poor provincial town…” And Gaston said he fell
for Belle since the first moment that he saw her. I guess Gaston is new to town,
if she’s been running around the place since she was in diapers.

And does Belle really spend all her time in the castle wearing that Prom Dress?
