I want to see adventures club replace the rain forest cafe at DAK

I've got a wacky idea. Instead of bringing back Adventurer's Club in all its glory, how about just something new and different, but just as - if not more - entertaining and fun and humorous as Adventurer's Club. Replace with better, and not with nothing.

Hyperion Wharf to me looked good but I must agree it would not have worked in the long run. I heard from another board that this re model is suppose to be set in the 1800's any more word on this?

HKDLR is rumored to be getting something very similar, for anyone who wants to learn Mandarin and travel to Hong Kong...

At this point I'd be content to see a clone of the Disneyland Hotel's Trader Sams replace Adventurers Club. Is it anywhere near as elaborate or good? No, but at least it's a bar with Disney touches that make it a far more unique experience than a standard watering hole.

I would hope this means the return of the adventurers club in some form... even if it becomes a themed restaurant and show on par with Rainforest Cafe in theming

Same here. I get that the old Pleasure Island turned the middle of DTD into a ghost town in the daytime but maybe the new Pleasure Island can fix those problems. I would love to see Adventurer's Club return in some form. Hyperion Wharf never looked that impressive to me anyway.

Yeah I guess the old super club idea of converting mannequins and 8 trax to one giant serves all venue. I have no idea what the rest of the plan is now, but I guess there are potential tenets again.

I'll believe it when I'm able to actually stand within a physical space. I'll be flabbergasted if its much more than a lifestyle center.

what ever happened to Hyperion wharf
and what was the difference between it and pleasure island

This is just speculation, but from what I've heard the tennants over at Boardwalk didn't like the idea because they felt it would rob them of their guests.

Hyperion Warf was supposed to be a shopping district. Basically an extension of the DTD West Side. Pleasure Island was an area for night clubs.

Word on the street is that Pleasure Island's 3rd Reboot Announcement is a few weeks away. Apparently for the 3rd time, they have lessees signed up, and ready to fill spaces.

What does this mean for DTD?

What will we see?

Well we won't be seeing Hyperion Warf, and we won't be seeing Pleasure Island. But word is some nightlife is coming back...
