They are definitely in place, but it is obvious to me that something happened, because the timing is off on a lot of them.

Re: Pop-up ghosts removed from the Haunted Mansion???
Just rode HM at WDW around midnight this morning - can confirm that the pop up ghosts are working properly and present throughout the graveyard scene. Most likely, that video was recorded during a temporary malfunction.

I wish there could be less of these kinds of Orlando residents on the internet. If you have such huge problems with WDW, I have a suggestion. Re: Pop-up ghosts removed from the Haunted Mansion???
They're probably just getting repairs. They are already way less scary and pop up much slower than they used to. If someone wants to try to try to sue Disney because they didn't know The Haunted Mansion would scare their kid, I would let them just to see how quickly it gets laughed out of the court room.
Lawyer: Your honor, Exhibit A, the ride is called "The Haunted Mansion." Exhibit B, there is no Exhibit B. The defense rests.

Re: Pop-up ghosts removed from the Haunted Mansion???
I am not a "hater" I am simply a person who looks at things pragmatically, and being friends with people all over Orlando, I normally have a pretty good grasp on the business climate of this city. So I approach planning, and development in this city with the perspective of the people making the decisions, and not fan boys/girls.

Until someone can confirm that they're operating again, I'm assuming the worst.

They just fixed the bicycle ghosts that were broken for a long time. They'll get around to it.

The system they run off of is probably broken. They're probably just working on them for the time being.

Pop-up ghosts removed from the Haunted Mansion???
I read on another forum a few weeks ago that the pop-up heads have gone missing from the graveyard scene in the HM.
Now there's video proof:
Haunted Mansion FULL EXPERIENCE (Regular Queue, Preshow, Ride, and Exit) - YouTube
I don't think they're out being refurbished.
