I just started a pin addiction thanks to finding this series posted on Micechat. I am a real ride/rollercoaster geek (see my site, www.coastergallery.com...sorry for the shameless plug ) So the series really interested me. Now I'm scouring Ebay for Ride pins!

I just hope the It's Tough To be a Bug isn't also 3D glasses!

What is this pin series all about?

this pin series is one of the 50th celebration things that they are doing at WDW. They decided to do this pin set because they realized how much ppl like Disneyana, but can't afford to buy it. So they decided to take some of the things?props/pieces of the attractions, cut them into little pieces, and then put them on a pin to sell to other WDW goers. It was a great idea I think. I have the whole set so far. I have a friend that is a CM at WDW and he picks them up for me!

Okay so I usually only collect the Star Wars and Marathon Pins, and any others which I find interesting. This set intrigues me... is there a way to get them online for a reasonable price, or any other way to do it if you live nowhere near the parks?

I've gotten them on Ebay. most go between $15-20 (they retail for $12.95 I think) Other than that, they're only available from WDW.

Of course, if anyone has a better idea so I don't have to pay inflated prices I'd love to hear it
