  • [Question] Early AM Fast Pass Strategies at DAK and Epcot - a Question

    So....

When we go in February 2013 we have Breakfast reservations for the Tusker Buffet at DAK about 45 minutes prior to opening and, on a different day, the Norway princess buffet.

    2 questions.

    A) I am assuming that the fast pass machines turn on when the park opens and not before? I am also assuming that our "best bet" will be to send Dad (aka me) husseling upon opening over to Everest and Test Track respectively to grab some passes while the rest of the family finishes up. Any wrinkles I should be aware of? Worth it? Or is my long experience with the DL rope drop mad rush for Tomorowland clouding my understanding of how busy those parks will actually be.

    B) How does Disney handle "loading" those restaurants prior to official park opening hours? Go to front gate and get escorted?

    A) you would be correct in your assumption. he best bet for you would be yes you running and getting the fast passes because then when your family gets there you can go in the stand by line, then go right back on with your fast pass, and then get another fast pass for later in the day for a total of three rides. the only issue with the "three ride swing" as i like to call it now is that you cant get other fast passes for different attractions but thats your call on how much you like the ride. I think i would do it at AK because lines on the safari and dinosaur should be just low enough you could get away with it but not at Epcot as Soarin alway has a nice long wait, then again you may not care because you have that at DCA so your call lol.

    B) Yep just go to the front ask a cast member and they will direct you.
