Exactly!!! you beat me by like ten minutes!!! I hope now this means basically DHS gets LucasFilm land or something along those lines...that'd make for a killer experience IMO

Sound investment , especially for what it could yield for the Studios park.

In fact save the Avatar money and spend it on Lucasland.

Let's dust off the Lucas Film Studio idea for a whole section of DHS.

:yea::yea::yea::yea:IE Goose bumps/Chicken Skin. Ive been saying this for a while. Lucas land/Star Wars land is the biggest no brainer in theme park history. I mean if people are traveling to see harry potter, just wait to see what happens when a star wars land opens (if done as well or better....must be bigger and better).:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Are Star Wars fans so insecure they can't comment on this without bashing Avatar? Get over it, the investment in Avatar was already made. There is no way a new Star Wars films is going to gross more than Star Wars. Investing in Avatar was a sound decision. Put down the Darth Vader action figure already. They were probably considering buying Lucasfilm before they even bought the Avatar rights.

"Avatar Land" isn't going anywhere. Sorry myopic children of the 70's who are now Disney fanatics.

Take everything from the startours area through the backlot tour and make a starwars land! And I teach high school and teens are still very into starwars so its a good plan for all ages!

Star Wars Land will be DHS's Cars Land. Star Wars has a huge fan base, and is a part of American popular culture.

hahaa exactly +1. with all due respect Jungle Cruise, please stop attacking people who aren't fans of the Avatar movie like yourself. It just doesn't have the staying power and its fallen off the public radar, it certainly is not one of the greats and will not live on as an icon in history. this is a far better idea with arguably the biggest film franchise in the world and i for one am extremely excited with the purchase. lets save the money on avatar and throw it all at lucas world. DHS needs the work more then AK, i think we can all agree on that.

I hope they still make some kind of Avatar attraction. Theres alot there to work with. But Star Wars is a whole series, running for decades. If they make a Lucasland, ....wait for it...................AMERICAN GRAFFITTI !!!!!

This is something I could get behind. Indy and the Skywalkers really feel like they belong at Disney.
