Hello, Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore here. When I started working for Mr. Disney in 1954 my job was to maintain order in the park. Which included keeping guests and park inhabitants safe, not always easy with Humphrey around, but the responsibility I always took most seriously was keeping the park clean. I think we did a relatively good job keeping the parks clean for the first 40 years or so, but as I and many of the old timers started to retire, I'm saddened to learn that park clearness isn't the priority it once was.
On a recent trip back to one of the parks I was greatly saddened by the amount of trash, litter, and debris scattered throughout the park. I intend to use this thread to post a photo essay of park current conditions is hopes that my successors will see this and do something to bring the park back to its glory days as one of the cleanest places on earth.
