[Question] What year did the "Celebrate the Season" castle show first premiere?

Does anyone know what year the "Celebrate the Season" castle show premiered? Looked on line to find out the date, and could find nothing pinpointing what year it started.

I miss the old "Sparkling Christmas Spectacular" castle show. It was a bigger production worthy of the season. "Celebrate the Season" was a big disappointment when I first saw it in 2006. I think it's very telling when no one can remember when a specific show debuted, as it means it's long overdue for replacement, and it should be replaced.
Maybe someone can find the answer to this question in the Disney Encyclopedia or "Ask Dave"?

The best I could figure out was that it started in 2002 - I am not 100% sure, but it is the earliest reference to it I could find while doing a little hunting on line.

The reason I asked is because I like to include the year a recording was released when I post my daily "song of the day" on my website. Today's posting is a portion from Celebrate the Season. I just started posting holiday songs, and I will post a new one every day until Christmas.
