  • [Question] Help Me Remember

I remember as a kid going to a place to eat at WDW, where a stage rose up and a band played. This had to be either at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT in the early eighties. Anybody have pictures? I've already tried Yesterland.

The place definitely felt like it was still in the 70s when I went. The chairs were probably the molded kind. Probably the ugly seventy colors.

The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

If it was inside, it was most likely Cosmic Rays.

Yep, it was probably the old Tomorrowland Terrace, which is now Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Sonny Eclipse, the animatronic singer, was added in the 1994 re-do of Tomorrowland. The stage is still there, Sonny was only put on the roof of it! I've read some live acts still use the old stage, and when it lowers, Sonny is back to his regular place. Thanks for pointing it out, dfan07!
