  • [Question] Epcot Fountain Stage

Does anyone know if Disney is ever going to fix the stage area at the Epcot fountain, which always looks like it's falling apart and belongs in a Six Flags park? I know they have hundreds of millions of dollars to build a new Downtown Disney. Why do they not have a few thousand bucks to fix (or just remove) the ugly white stage?

Absolutely! The only reason it was installed in the first place was for the short-lived Splashtacular show. Now it's kind of an eyesore. Should have been demolished a long time ago.

I second the removal of the stage.
        Current coaster count: 179
100th coaster: Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood
        150th coaster: Intimidator at Carowinds
last new park addition: Six Flags Great America

I am sure I have seen it but can't remember what it looks like. Does anyone have a picture to refresh my brain?

If you're talking about the large one near the center of the park, it was actually working today, playing to some music shortly after opening. They have another smaller stage on the backside of Innoventions, across from where the Butterfly House currently sits. That is reserved for special groups, such as this kids orchestra group that performed today.

As for the large fountain one, I believe they stop performing on the actual stage part probably because when performances happened (if they did, I never witnessed them. I speak only in theory) that they cause traffic gridlock.

              I third the removal
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).
