Nice post, to add to that:

Terminology regarding break-downs and derailments refers to the number of cap shots that were fired in each situation. 3-shot meant "unable to proceed forward," like when the boats stalls. 4-shot meant a medical or security problem on the boat, and 6-shot meant derailment. These terms are not supposed to be used anymore, especially not on the radio, but many Skips use them anyway. Today, airhorn blasts are used to signal other boats to the problem because they are clearer.

I really wish I had something to contribute to this thread. I really don't know all that much about WDW yet. Ummm, one thing I learned quickly was that you can get Strongbow Cider in the half-yard from the pub in England at Epcot, where you can use your Disney Dining Card, so it only ends up costing a $6. That's just the most awesome thing ever. As for little factoids and details, I'm still learning them, Disneyland is still where most of my knowledge lies. I just found out about the Mr. Toad tribute in Owl's House in Pooh not too long ago. That's a neat little thing.

That's a Hidden Mickey

Thats what you call a Hidden Mickey...Did you know that there is another tribute to Mr. Toads in the MK...If you go to Exposition Hall you can find one of the original cars in the very back at the place where u take pics. It is in where the movie screen is and a bunch of stand ups to get ur pic taken with!!!!!

Ooooh, no, I didn't know that! I don't go in there because it's irritating to get in there with a stroller. I'll have to make the extra effort next time I go... even though I never got to go on WDW's Toad (my first visit was June 2001).

There's a Toad car at Mouse Surplus... It'll probably go on ebay at some point... http://www.mousesurplus.com/ Lots of other good stuff up right now from them.

DYK..That the Tower of Terror at WDW is only 199 feet tall... If they made it 200 they would have had to put blinking red light on it. (Some stupid FAA rule in FL) They didn't want to take any of the theming away from it so they made it exactly 199 feet tall!!!!! Also, DYK that the tower was ACTUALLY STRUCK BY LIGHTNING during the construction...This is NO joke!!!!!

I hope it's okay that I jump into this one.

You're thinking of Disneyland. I don't know if it was opening day, or what the heck the motivation was, but there's definitely a scrim in their Mansion. Just above the ballroom dancers (yeah, I'm a geek).

After looking at urban legend sites and speaking with posters on other forums I have come to the conclusion that this never did happen, even though some sites say that it did, but these sites have no credibility in IMHO!

While riding Pooh, be sure to kinda duck and look to the far wall in Owl's house before you crash into it. There is a pic on the wall that is of Mr. Toad hand Owl the deed to the building

You can also find a another Mr.Toad running in the far of one of the backgrounds in Pooh!!!!!

DYK.....Water doesn't fall off of SSE. It is funneled through cracks in the geodesic dome and sent into the World Showcase Lagoon?????

Yes it was the scrim at DL, it is a huge one piece unit that was lowered into the building by a crane, too much to remove and replace for one small bullet hole.

OKay...I see about the scrim now...I mostly read WDW sites, I'm sorry. I was wrong.

DYK... That the Mah Jongg game in the lobby of The Tower of Terror was actually played by two championship players for one hour. Then they just stood up and walked away. This way nobody who knew the game could claim that the game was in any way inaccurate!!!

This is some more info about the HM

The ring that people might believe to be the ring that was thrown out the window is actually the bottom of a pole that was placed there when this attraction first opened. When maintenence tryed to yank the pole nub out with a screwdriver the SD broke. This accounts for what is to be the "diamond" on the top. The next day MK's guests relations was flooded with inquiries about the ring. Therefore WDW decided to never take it out and let people speculate about it.

Somebody tell me if you want me to keep going with the WDW trivia. I consider myself to be a WDW expert so I love to do this sort-of thing. Somebody let me know what you think!!!!!

Here is some more trivia for ya!!!!! Have you ever heard the same song play twice outside of the RnR starring Aerosmith. Probably not. There are 68 hours of music playing on a loop outside of the RnR attraction. Also, DYK...That the RnR ride length is 3:12 mins. Thats the same exact length of Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith..Be sure to try to get the Limo that plays that song. You will notice that they did not cut any of the song out of the ride. Also, there are five different limos parked in RnR. Each of them play a different Aerosmith song during the ride. And be sure to check out the equipment in the RnR studio where Aersmith is. It is actual equipment used for Aerosmith's Nine Lives Tour. There is also a Hidden Mickey in the studio. Can you find it?????
