  • [Question] Wdw

It's been over a year since we've been to WDW so I was wondering if the following are true:

Fast Pass times are strictly enforced?

No more paint brushes on Tom Sawyer Island?

    Thanks!

To answer your questions, yes FASTPASS times are strictly enforced unless an attraction goes down then you can use your pass anytime. To answer your other question the paint brushes have been gone for quite some time and will not be returning.

      Re: Wdw

The pass clearly states "Not able to accommodate late arrivals.", yet, I have found that even if you are 15-20 mins late, just about any CM will allow you to enter. I have found that it is really up to the CM as to how late you may return. One DHS CM allowed me to enter Toy Story Mania at 8:00PM when my FASTPASS was from 11:15 earlier that day!

HOWEVER, CMs are extremely strict about returning early. You will be turned away in this instance.

So in closing, if your FASTPASS says to return from 12:15-1:15, you will not be allowed in at 12:00 or 12:10.

You will probably be allowed to enter at 1:30, but it's up to the CM.

        Re: Wdw

In the implementation of the upcoming "FastPass+," they're trying to get the public ready and aware of their times and how they are used. Since people will be coming, most likely, from their hotels (and homes!) with their planning itinerary already mapped out and FPs distributed, they have to make sure they/we follow through.

Because of the people running around looking for the paint brushes, reportedly, they stopped the distribution. They gave out FPs with the finding of them to boot. So, I may be incorrect, but it was elected to just stop putting them out. It's been a while, however.

The back side of the FASTPASS is printed as follows:

            Disney's
            FASTPASS
Get a time, why wait in line?

Please enter at the designated entry point
between the times noted on the other side.

            Cannot accept early arrivals.

Thanks for the updates! Sad about the paintbrushes...we were allowed to hide one once. I can understand the restrictions on the FP though, cause we've had up to 15 rides (x4) at once. Puts a damper on our usual park methods.
