  • [Question] Country Bear Jamboree

On my last trip I was excited to see the Country Bear Jamboree. I hadn't seen it since 2009 and heard it was recently updated. I was surprised to see the several of the bears had eye problems, just like in 2009. Trixie's eyes were all over the place and the the final Henry his eyes were crossed.

Is there a reason that the eyes always seem broke? Seems the should be able to fix that. I don't see this problem with other animatronics. I posted a video and you can see Trixie at the 4:45 mark.

I always thought they were supposed to have weird eyes.

Yeah Trixie's right eye looks like its just a little off centre. Guess if its not intentional its not something that was picked up last refurb.

Could be worse, if this was in Paris she'd probably have one eyelid shut and the other looking to the ceiling.

This attraction was just majorly refurbed like a year ago (when they cut the show down so it makes no sense anymore and gave some of the bears new costumes, hair and even new body fur in some cases). Trixie's eyes have been crazy for years. No idea why they don't fix that because she looks like she's been taking nips of that wine she's holding between shows. Seriously - she looks DRUNK!

I think with Trixie, she is suppose to look a bit (or a lot) tipsy. That is the way it comes off looking to me, anyway.

Not sure abou that last Henry. The eyes weren't really moving, so I'm thinking they got stuck like that.

Ah of course she's tipsy! Never thought of that.

BTW Dodger, I love your avatar.
