We have a front page filled with amazing content. We offer weekly meetups in the parks. Meets and events all over the world. Podcasts and videos. And we continue to maintain forums for your posting convenience. But with all those options, we can't be everywhere all the time. We need YOUR help. Please don't poke the trolls. Report posts and leave reputation. We'll do our best to keep the forums clean and active, but we can't do so without your help.

  • The Barge is back!

    EDIT: It is true, the Inferno Barge is now officially back in duty...bigger and better than ever!

    According to some people over on another forum, the Reflections of Earth Inferno Barge is going to be tested this week after park closing.

    If anyone will be at WDW this week and sees a huge mushroom cloud late at night (or has any more information on this), please post it here.

            It wasn't in the show tonight ... you really notice it missing.

            I'm also thinking that Disney might want to revisit never canceling the show. Winds were steady at about 15-20 MPH during the show and debris was blowing all over Japan where I viewed.

            A piece of fallout, about the size of a park map, landed on the pavers at the bottom of the stairs up to Teppanyaki. It burned for at least two minutes (no flames, just orange glow) and I kept thinking that could have damaged anyone unfortunate enough to have it land on them.

              Yeah, it's a common thing with that sort of wind. I just make it a habit of mine to test the wind direction before the show.

                I saw a video of Reflections of Earth from this past holiday season-boy I love the ending of the show. But I was curious to know where does the inferno barge come in? I saw a picture of it once, and it looked awsome.

                  The beginning...it's part of the Chaos section of the show--basically everything up until the Earth Globe lights up.

                    I saw them doing a burn off on the barge the day after it messed up.

                    That was in September.

                    It sure was down for a long time.

                          Wow - I have this eerie strange sense of deja vu, as if something like this happened to me in an earlier life. Couldn't be, tho. . .

                            What's sad is that I really know this show with OUT it since it blew up right after I got there guys. So for me, it'll be an addition to the show. :cblush: Go figure, huh? But I'm glad to here it's finally returning after six months. Yay for sponsorship!
