My "Quality Control" visit to WDW (photos)

Ok...I visited WDW yesterday because I got up in a crabby mood and needed a happy fix. So, against better judgement (forecast of thunderstorms and tornado watches for the orlando area) I set out to WDW to reset my head. After all, why be crabby? I just came back from Tokyo Disney Resort on Tuesday, and will go to Paris Saturday night, and possibly visit DLRP on Sunday. With all this Disney overdose, I would be in a happy mood but NO... not me. I guess it has to do with not having my better half at home this week. Oh well... I stoped by DAK, MGM, MK and had intended to go to Epcot as well but it started raining so I may do EPCOT tomorrow. So I took this set of pics in a not so happy mood so forgive the crabby captions, and enjoy. :o

First off, THANK YOU for the pictures. Don't apoligise for making negative comments about things that deserve them. I think you are right on the money. I get depressed about the decay at WDW too. Granted, it must be very hard to keep up with it all in the constant rain and heat.

You travel schedule sounds like mine. We have to arrange to meet up in Paris or Tokyo soon!

I think your constructive criticism was very fair and very polite (considering the way the parks are kept these days).

Also, your pics of the new hub put a nice visual to all I've been reading about.

Yes...and along those lines...let me add something about that castle pic everyone is raving about.... I hate it! It was raining, dark and humid, and I didn't have my tripod for better quality, so I had to hold camera steady and create an open lense shot. Because of the lack of a tripod, the picture turned up a bit blurry! I *hate* it when that happens. But I am pleasantly surprised you all like that shot. Thank you.

Your photo gallery has now caused one of my family members to spaz out and want to go to Orlando. Thanks, I was so close to getting away to TDL, too. (kidding, sorta.. :lol: )

Does anyone know where I can get MORE pictures of WDW and it's rides and shows? I want to show him more of what he wants to see so that hopefully he can get off this topic. Heehee.

that's just weird, Disney knows the nature of the show but yeah

this is were I wonder why Disney would put them in the park, yes power Rangers are popular with kids but they change every season because of the fact that all the show's footage comes from the japanese Super Sentia shows (Power Rangers is toned down and attemps to connect the seasons together though Sentia is a bunch of unrelated story's that only crossover on ocasions)

I am amazed that Disney is taking this show that is budgeted Pressler style and actualy putting money into it o_O since Disney bought it they've produced more american footage then ever before (excluding the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the show which were almost completly american because they were afriad kids would hate change, 2nd and 3rd seasons were a failure and cost lotsa $$$$) and Disney is investing in the company that makes it o_O

sometimes I am perplexed by Disney's financial choices, if only they'd spent the money they used to send Jason David Frank to New Zealand on actualy building rides for their parks 9_9

them again Power Rangers is the only thing I've heard of that Disney's made money off of since buying Fox Family 9_9

I must say the attitude here toward TDLFAN's very honest, very obvious criticism is very refreshing. Other Disney fan sites and discussion boards seem to have a majority of people (or a very vocal, obnoxious minority) that thinks Disney can do no wrong and that the parks are in the same shape now as they were 10, 20 or 30 years ago. Of course, that is utter stupidity ... but it's nice to see folks not jumping down TDLFAN's throat for pointing out why pixie dust is in short supply in O-Town these days.
