  • [Question] Putting Together a Little Surprise

My daughter is a HUGE Disney fan. She's been putting herself through college, so funds are tight, but she's saved up enough for a week at Disneyworld in May. She's meeting up with her "bestest buddy" (who is finishing up at a different college), and it's kind of a celebration of friendship, the rite of passage of graduation-to-career, last "little girls fling," etc. They're both very excited.

She booked all of her reservations today; all that's left is choosing Fastpasses for their itinerary.

My wife and I were wondering about the possibility of arranging a little surprise for them waiting at the hotel when they arrive, or in their room, or something like that. Nothing big... Perhaps a couple of Minnie Mouse ears/headbands and a note wishing them a great adventure.

Is it possible to arrange something like that? How would I go about it?

      Thanks.

Of course, some of those are pretty elaborate (and pricey). But we'll follow-up and see if they can do something more like what we're thinking. Awesome stuff!

Everything is pretty pricey. But to have it ready, that's what you have to do.

Here is an alternative that is good, not great.

The caveat is this isn't a surprise and won't be as neat looking.

Mail something, like gift cards, something ordered online, like ear hats, or some treats.

        Make the address

        Guest: Jane Smith
        Check in: May 18th 2014

        C/O Pop Century Resort
1050 Century DriveLake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8433
        (407) 938-4000

The resort's address is on the resort's page on the right on wdw.com. It may be delivered to her room, but she may need to ask at the desk for it. Use her exact reservation name.

Wow, what a great idea! That would be an awesome surprise!
Grim, I lost her once; I'm not gonna lose her again.
