It's going to be awesome for him, but a little slower for you. You will have to keep a close eye on him. I'd suggest staying out of the wave pool as he could get tossed around a lot if he goes out too far, so he may as well splash around in the small kid area instead.

Water parks are super fun for young kids. He's going to have a great time. Bring a water proof camera.

He can go on anything that his height allows and you think is fine. With a two person tube or family tube is what you are looking for.

I don't think they allow lap sitting. Work up from small to big and he'll find something he wants to do a lot. Go first to catch him in the pool at the bottom is ideal, which works better if a sibling or other adult can see them off at the top too.

They have life jackets that require an ID and deposit but are free. Water wings are not a better idea.

Have you been to one of their water parks before?

    Toddler and Water Parks Question

I'm going to the World the first week of May, and while I've been there a whole lot of times before, this is my first time taking my 3 year old kid. Now, he's insanely adventurous and isn't afraid of anything. He's about 42" tall, but not a strong swimmer yet. When I take him to the water parks, what will he be able to do outside of the kid areas. I mean, I know he can't go down Summit Plummet (even though he'll probably ask) but can he go on the family raft rides? Is there lap-sitting allowed on the basic body slides? (Our local "water park" has one really good body slide and they allow the lap-sitting kids, so he's very used to that.) And do they let you bring your own floatie devices in the parks? (Most likely those inflateable arm things.) Alright, I think that's all I got for now. Thanks in advance.
