  • [Question] Disney World Face Character Auditions

    Hey everyone,

I heard that the Disney World auditions are a little different in their process, compared to Disney Land. I'm not sure if it is okay that I'm posting a new thread..

I know there is A LOT of feedback on the Disney Land Auditions forum.

I'm going to an audition on Thursday, in New York for Disney Land. They are auditioning Tinker, Elsa and Anna. I only fit into the height range of Elsa and Anna. I also wanted opinions, I know they look for more than just if you can pull off just like Anna or something. I know I've been told that I have a lot of similarities to Anna. I can agree on a lot the visual similarities. When I started dreaming about auditions I was always told I'd make a good Ariel. I'm not sure, I'm open for anything. I'm 5'5" and fairly average size.

    Thanks for your time!
    Sam~

*I'm posting also cause I'm all nervcited for the audition(nervous+excited)*

Re: Disney World Face Character Auditions

I just auditioned in Chicago this past weekend and the auditions definitely were a little different than the reviews I had read and have read recently online. The audition went straight into first round cuts based solely off of how you look or "fit the part". Then the number of girls that were left were given a small excerpt to read in character.
Just relax, have fun and meet new friends! It was a great experience, for sure!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm just going for fun, for the most part anyways! Obviously, its a dream of mine, but its a long shot for being new to the whole thing. I'm assuming there were a lot of people there? Do you have any estimates?

Re: Disney World Face Character Auditions

        Hi Everyone!

I am auditioning for character look a-like in Orlando May 8th. I have loved reading all of the feedback on this forum. Lots of great insights!
I was wondering how critical they judges are on facial features on Disney Princess Character look alike auditions they are. I am auditioning for Mulan and have 2 dark freckles on my face, I was wondering if you think I should cover them up? Although they are not super noticeable in my head shots, they are when you are close to my face.
