  • Inferno Barge - bigger fire?

Did the flames used to jump that high? They seem twice as high as my recollection.

And did the flames leap out of the sides before? Let alone in syncopation with the music? I seem to recall only upward-leaping flames before.

The flames have always come out the sides.

As for the height, I can think of two possibilities
    A) The flame is indeed higher. Perhaps when they fixed the barge, they cleaned the insides allowing more feul to flow through.
    B) Absense makes the heart grow fonder. The flames are the same size, but the fact that they were gone so long makes us think they are bigger than they are.

I haven't seen inferno barge 2.0 yet, but I do remember 1.0 shooting flames out the side in sync with the music.

Wish I had some photographic proof, but unfortunately one of my Illuminations pics have any shots of the inferno barge.

i went on friday, and developed the B&W images.. man.. they look soo cool.

it does "seem" larger.. but that just might be due to the absence...

or it is and we dont believe it...

but i did keep warm on friday during the show.

Same height. I remember exactly (and have compared my old videos to it) and they are almost identical.

Yeah, probably. Normally I'd compare to old videos, as Bill has done, but the old videos I looked at showed the barge from a greater distance (ie, from Japan or Germany) whereas these days I watch the show from front and center, making me closer to the barge itself, so I knew I couldn't trust my memory or the videos.
