  • Visiting WDW 3/15 - 3/21 Need info.

    Hi all...

I am going down to WDW in March for some nice R&R... Although I dont know how much R&R you actually get at a WDW property... Anyway, I usually always go down in October and the parks are nice and empty... What can I expect in terms of crowds when I go down in March, specifically 3/15 to 3/21?

I looked on the WDW site, and I didnt see any special events planned for the week I am going to be there...

So I know that some CM's frequent this board, so hopefully I can get some feedback from them or even from a seasoned veteran...

    Thanks for the help.

I guess what I am looking to find out is, Will the crowds be summeresque? Meaning should I expect to walk into the MK and think its July or Aug? Or will there still be some crowds but not that bad...

What is an estimate on the longest waitime for a ride?

Just trying to get an idea.

I would guess that the crowds will be larger than what has been typical of July and August, which are value season at WDW. March is peak season. That alone should tell you something.

This year, due to Easter and Passover being late, spring break is basically a two-month deal that started last week with President's Weekend and runs until the middle of April.

I wouldn't expect the largest crowds when you are visiting. Those would be the two weeks surrounding Easter, but it will be crowded.

If you are staying on-site, I would definitely take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours at night.
