What are some of the traditions you hold to every time you go to WDW?

We Always ride Spaceship Earth first.
    Disney Selfishness

    1. Concerned chiefly or only with oneself pertaining to the Walt Disney Company and its theme parks and what the company owes to the person in question.

I always have to ride the HM first. I am an AP holder so as soon as we check in at the resort we catch a bus the MK, then it is straight to the HM!!!!!

It has become a tradition for me to take a picture standing on a specific bench in Frontierland facing towards Splash Mountain. We use that same picture from every trip to compare the crowd at WDW (a true scientific study )! It started in 1998 when we were there at the end of June and the crowd was so staggering that I HAD to get a picture of it. We were there back that same year for Halloween and there was no one around, so I took the same shot! It has become a tradition on each trip and we even tried to find an equivalent bench in Disneyland Paris!

      (June 1998)

      (January 2004)

      (Disneyland Paris April 2004)

We also usually hit pizza on the Boardwalk one night to sit and listen to the swing music (The Royal Crown Revue) over the speakers and remember the swing nights we enjoyed at Atlantic Dance!

        Ah swing at WDW

That was a big disappointment for me, heading to the Atlantic Ballroom in 2001, and finding out no more swing at WDW.

Hehe, we always take a threesome picture in a particular alcove in Morocco at World Showcase, posing in See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil formation. There ended up so many of these pics that friends visiting WDW started taking the same pictures of their group and sending them to us.

Also, and this is probably dating me a bit - because I'm not sure if they still do this. After IllumiNations, we'd go stand in front of American Adventure, directly under the beam that was projecting the image of a spinning globe onto Spaceship Earth. We'd each stand under the beam, looking straight up at it - - and we'd spin and spin and spin and spin, and then suddenly stop while following the beam across the lagoon to have our eyes rest on the spinning Earth. It was marvelously trippy.

I always ride Spaceship Earth, TTA and see American Adventure if I can. I always have to have a good drink at R&C and hit the possum on Big Thunder as well.

            Good thread!

We used to go to Epcot in the morning to get that out of the way. Horizons was our first and last ride of the day. But not anymore. Boo Hoo!

i know, the only time that I got to ride that ride was when I was 7. I am so pissed off that they took it down. I would love to experience it as an adult now!!!!!

While we are waiting for the monorail, me and my sister always do a little dance and sing "get down and get fuuuuunnnnkkkyyyyy!"

When it starts to rain, head straight for IASW. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. (while it was down for rehab this year, we were lost...)

The nighttime parade is to be watched right in front of Sleepy Hollow across from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.

We also like to part at Epcot even if we're not going there.
