Can anybody tell me what piece is being played in the Michelangelo scene in Spaceship Earth? Thanks!

This may not be the correct section of the ride, but I think it is Bach's Sinfonia 2 in C-minor.
Check out The Sound of Magic, under Disney Classics.

Off topic, but the graphic design on Sound of Magic is mindblowing. It is so inspiring.

Its definitely not Bach. It was originally composed music for the attraction in the "style" of rennaissance by Ido Guidoti.

off topic also here, but I agree! I love the way the site looks. Especially what they did with the old Epcot symbol is great! It was my background for a little while on my computer.

Then why is Bach listed as the main theme for SE? Was this piece the influence?

BTW, DarkRider, the Sound of Music site also has clips of Ido Guidoti's music. Maybe one of those pieces will sound familiar to you.

I can't answer that...but it was 100% original music (version 1994 has the best music-I love it) and yes the Sound Of Magic has a very good, clean & crisp (if not copied from the master) version of the song for downloading.

My only problem with SoM is when the Iraq war started it just turned into a War debate site () ...and it has had like 0 updates since 2004. I mean even the DLP and Magic Kingdom clips he used to have up are not up anymore.

Interesting. Just checked the website and I guess Ido did "borrow" the theme from the C min Sinfonia and used it in the attraction. It is not used in the Rennaissance section though. It is used in the return to earth section when you are coming down past the scenes added in 94.

No. No it is an old site that has stopped progress.
