  • Are the waterparks open year-around?

Can't recall if the two Disney water parks in Florida are seasonal or not - any information would be much appreciated!

At least one waterpark will be opened every day of the year. In the winter months, there is a trade-off where one waterpark will be open, the other closed for rehab. Once the rehab is done, they switch, the other one closes and the other re-opens.

usually in December they are both closed for two weeks each for refurbishment. but the two park closure is not at the same time, one closes the first two week the other is the second half of the month.

        Thanks for the information!

By the way - didn't there used to be a 3rd Disney waterpark in Orlando?

For the past 2 years Blizzard Beach has been closed in mid Nov through Mid Dec. When it reopens Typhoon Lagoon then closed till mid Jan.

Maybe it was my bad luck, but early february sometimes sees 'both' parks closed for rehab. It has happened to me twice, but again, maybe this was just bad luck.
