  • Pre-arranged room surprises?

Does anyone have an idea how I can go about having a little something delivered to the room prior to our arrival for the boys? I saw the tuxedo strawberries delivered to the room from Great Hotels, but that was at GF, we're staying at CSR. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I believe you can have treats delivered to any Disney hotel. I thought about doing something like that when Nathan and I stayed at the DLR for our anniversary a few years ago. I contacted the hotel and they routed me to I believe the catering department. From there, they gave me a menu of items and the cost of each item.

I would call the hotel directly to see if they can further assist you. If the hotel does not provide the service, you could always contact a gift basket company in the area.

The direct number for the hotel is (407) 939-1000
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I believe special requests can be arranged thru central reservations at (407) W-Disney. Try that.

            Re: Pre-arranged room surprises?

On a special occasion I asked the hotel concierge if there was something they could do to make my visit a little more magical. He assured me that they would use their imaginations and come up with something that, when I checked into my room, would kick my vacation off to a great start.
All I suggest to you is that make sure to be VERY SPECIFIC with the surprises that you would like to recieve.
I still have a fear of Mice, Ducks, and Puppys, as well as a rash all over my body that has not gone away. This was 11 months ago.
Ah, how strange! The molecules are so active now!

ORDDU: Well, I know what THIS witch would like to have for a pre-arrival room surprise! Nothing but the best will do. And the best thing I can think of is a certain man in a loin cloth--all stretched out and waiting for his favorite cauldron girl to come inside--leaving her two sisters to find rooms of their own! (Got that, Tarzan, darling?)

Try going into www.disneyflorist.com When we did the Backstage Magic tour last month, they had all sorts of different goodies to be delivered to the resorts!

I have a question along the same lines. Is it possible to have a character visit your hotel room? Say like Peter Pan for instance.

Disneymom - You can have anything you like delivered to your room. Since you have young boys...I am suggesting balloons or a cookie/ cupcake / gift basket. Any good hotel will be able to handle this request.

Do they have a favorite character? Try to get a balloon, tee shirt, silly hat, toy or food item for them. One cute idea is a disposable camera so they can take pictures of their trip. I think the question becomes..."What would be cute, but not drive you crazy?"

Thanks for all the suggestions, you guys are great

I know I want autograph book for my youngest with a pen, and disposable cameras for all three boys, but for my almost 12 year old and my 15 year old brother I'mnot sure what else. I like the idea of cookies or somesort of sweets though.
