  • POTC Captain Jack Sparrow Pirate Tutorial

My husband and I are passholders, and on a whim we went to WDW today(we live an hour away). Hit up Pizzafari for lunch, then went to MK to check out the refurbed POTC. Upon walking up to the attraction, we witnessed THE MOST IMPRESSIVE Captain Jack Sparrow, doing his little Private Pirate Tutorial with a large crowd around him!! Neither my husband nor myself brought a digital camera, but we did get a couple of shots with our camera phones. We will be back next weekend to take a friend of ours to O'Hana's for dinner and to see the Wishes fireworks, so we'll take our camera and see if we can't 'catch' the good Captain then, savvy?!

I wish I could post a pic, but perhaps later on I just hope they keep this meet n greet characrter around until next year, at least!

On a sad note, I was most distressed to see my favourite animatronic pirate-speaking parrot was no longer at the attraction *sigh* the end of an era, I suppose.

My good friend Jordan is one of the Captain Jacks for he tutorial!! I wonder if it was him!! I think he looks wonderful and I bet he is great as Capt. Jack!! Unfortunately my heart belongs to Disneyland so I don't make it to Disney World enough to get to see him. But I have seen pictures!!

I'm so bummed I missed this the other weekend. I missed the last show by a half hour. It wasn't listed in the times guide but they had show times on the board by the hub. Now I know where to look next time!
