  • Question about Mickeys Not So Scary Holloween Party

I was just wondering what rides are open? I may be going to Disney World around October 20th.

To the best of my knowledge all the rides will be open during the party.

All rides were open last year when I went and so were the character tents in Toontown with special characters other than the ones that were walking around. Food choices are a little limited though.

Mine too...and my first time EVER going to WDW. I can barely sleep at night (kinda like the commercial) and I still have 23 more days before I leave! :yea:

All should be open that are opened that day (BTMRR was closed during our stay three years ago).
This isn't some lame attempt at a cloned special event in an inferior park. This is the real thing.

In my opinion, this is the best party! The fireworks are even better then Wishes and the parade is to die for. They even have it twice! You get tons of candy, all the rides to yourself and characters out the ying yang. I even got my picture taken with one of my favorites, Tarzan, and man was he buff! You must go at all costs! We will be there on the 30th. Can't wait!

You can get them the same day but they sell out quickly so if I were you and you have decided to go I would buy them now! They will send you a hard card now to redeem at the park. I already have mine for Halloween and Christmas. You can buy them online directly through Disney.com

I agree. Buy now. There are a few nights that sell out very quickly due to locals' preference.

I see that you're not sure whether you will be there. Hmm, you might have to decide that first.

Buy in advance! You never know when they will sell out it is quite popular. If you are staying "on property" at one of the WDW resorts you can pick them up at check in with your other passes.

I know what you mean, even though I have been there dozens of times its always a rush.

Thanks for answering my question. When I most likely go down in October it should be awesome.

Ooh, I have a silly question! Do I just have to buy the ticket for the event, or a daytime ticket as well? If I only intend to go for the evening, that is.

If you're only going to the party, then that's the only ticket you will need.

And, FYI, even though it starts at 7, they no longer clear the park (meaning many day guests hide and try and stay for free with varying degrees of success) first, which means you should be able to gain admission by 6 at the latest.
