THANK YOU for posting what that was. We saw the test, and it looked in-freaking-credible. I was so impressed that I had to know what it was, so we stopped by in GR and the CM tried to tell us that it was Fantasmic. Uhhh, no. If that is the same show they will be showing every night, I will be spending a lot more nights at MGM. Wow.

Too cool. Is it gonna be movie themed????
Tricia Jones:When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...
Brodie: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

            sounds exciting

right when people were talking about how MGM is missing something like that

            I've always wondered though

how does the resort running two fireworks hows work out?

The first public showing I believe is the 4th.

I'd also like to comment on what the people at WDWmagic are saying. For example, Montu said:
"What he saw was a rehearsal for the 50th press event pryo that they're going to shoot off later this week.

There will NOT be a nightly fireworks show at the Disney/MGM Studios."

I have been assured by more CMs in the park then I can count that the show will be nightly, and the first public performance will be at the press event.

                      We'll see what happens though.

That would be a welcomed addition to MGM. I love fireworks!!!

Well, no chance for me to see it on the 4th, I think, since I'll be eating at CG at 2100. BUT, I'll try to catch it the 5th or 6th. Also, the stupid park closes at 4 pm on the 4th, come to think of it.

Yes, I know the park closes early on the 4th... though anyone can usually get into the parking lot. LOL. You can see a lot of it from Epcot as well.

WDWmagic is worring me about being wrong about the whole thing. But being that Guest Relations flat out denied it & said it was Fantasmic! when mistryl asked about it, and all the CMs are reporting to me that it is going to be a new fireworks show, then I suppose it's probably true. I guess it's possible for it to just be for the Press Event IF the various CMs I asked in the park were lying. But I find it odd that Guest Relations told mistryl that it was Fantasmic! rather than telling mistryl it was testing for the press event.

I think there's a good chance this time that WDWmagic might be wrong and that I'm right...

We'll see what happens I suppose.

Ha! I hope I'm right too. Because if I'm wrong then:

                                  A. My credibility drops even lower.
                                  B. the guys at WDWmagic hate me even more.
                                  C. I have to apoligize to everyone here and my own site for posting info that turned out to be false.

But I'm confident enough that there's something there... After all, if it was JUST for the Press Event, why would Guest Relations deny it?

Is this going to be in addition to Fantasmic! Are you going to be able to see the fireworks from anywhere in the park, or just from the Fantasmic! amphitheater?

I'm looking at the current park hours... they do seem odd... on the 5th it seems that they could do the fireworks because they stay open till 10pm, but then they start closing at 8:30pm...

                                      That's not good news

A certain member at WDWmagic is denying it... this may not be true because he is a fireworks nut and he usually knows almost every datail about every show.

I think I might just give up on this rumor...

                                        Sorry for the high hopes...

I know what I heard from the CMs. Some were even supervisors. Oh well.
