Thanks for the update Figment! I forgot how beautiful the castle looks without all that gold. We've been having beautiful days lately haven't we? Makes for great pictures!

Also it appears I'm going to be spending even less time in Tomorrowland now. :yuck:

I'm guessing the HSMPR stage is temp.? Are they going to re-do the Castle Stage? What's up with the banners? Why are they so half-baked? Why am I asking so many questions? Why are you still reading this?

they use the castle stage as is for the new show. and yes the light post signs look even cheaper in person. they are repainting the turrets on the castle a glossy blue and you can really tell the difference. I didn't realise how faded they were till you see the unpainted compared to the painted ones. we also saw the princess show in fantasyland as well. It's not merlin but little kids especially little girls loved it.

Brilliant update Mr Figment, love the picture of the castle, the colours look a lot stronger, has it been painted yet? Not sure about the new Main Street lampost decorations.

Alright, I saw the video. The new show is alright, way better than Cinderellabration, but not great. Thanks fig!

Oh, one last question, couldn't see in vid, is the castle closed off for every show like Cinderellabration? If so that stinks, I haven't been able to walk through the castle for years thanks to the shows!

I like the new decorations and the color scheme to them.

I think the High School Musical Pep Rally is getting an actual stage designed for them later in the year, or early next year.

Castle show- great!!! nice touch of Tokyo, and what a castle show should be!

Next January, by the old Skyway station I think.

I don't know why they don't use the pavilion stage already existing in Tomorrowland, that is used for Magic Music Days.

The new light post decorations actually cost more than the old 2-D cardboard cutout ones we had last year, and they all match the same general shape. The ones at Epcot are huge!

yes, because they stage everything in there prior to the show... and a littlebit after the show... but they shows do end way before it gets dark right now...

I want to see this show again later this fall when they do some evening shows...

Thanks figment for the pictures. I know you won't want to hear this, but I think my 10 year old son is going to love the High School Musical part. Afterall, Disney is for kids too!

Size comparable to the fiberglass leaves at the Alice attraction in DL.

maybe a year? i would figure they have a one year contract...

HSM is part of the year of a million dreams, so it will probably last at least that long. most of these smaller scale atmosphere shows aren't permanent.

what stage??

The schools are performing in the galaxy place theater....

While the portable temp stage is being used for High school musical pep rally... for now.. They are building a permanent structure for it nearby...

finally got something set up so i can cheat... lol
