We are going to Disney World in January and are using Magical Express to get from the airport to the Beach Club. Problem is we would like to get a cab to stock the fridge for our stay. Does anyone know what the cost would be to hire a cab from the Beach Club to the nearest store? Where is the nearest store? Thanks!

The nearest full grocery store is Goodings at the Crossroads of Lake Buena Vista, but it's quite overpriced. There are also Publix and Winn-Dixie stores in the area. I particularly like Publix, even though it's a little longer drive than Winn-Dixie.
Another way to stock your fridge is to use a shopping service. We're using WeGoShop (second year in a row) at http://www.WeGoShop.comWerner Weiss

Re: What to do?
Wow...I never heard of WeGoShop. Sounds perfect. The first time I stocked up for a stay I did so at Goodings. Yea...it was pricey...but I do believe it was still cheaper than buying staples like 'chips and dips' or snacks at the resort. Cabs are a lot of money. Buses...I am not even sure if it is at all possible to take one to and from to do your shopping. Second time I stocked up I had a car (yea...this cost some cash also) and I went to a Publix and a Wal-Mart. We liked to have a few 'drinks' before dinner, so the trip off the property to get the spirits was worth the savings. You guys are lucky in FL...up here in PA we have to go to a state store to get our 'juice.' In FL...well, it is in the next aisle by the bread.
