Are you talking about The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue?

If you are, then I am qualified to talk about it. We saw it September 2002 as part of the Discovery Magic Plan, so it was basically 'free' with out package. I'm glad I didn't pay $50 for it, but overall I thought it was fun. My sister really liked it, and would do it again.

Show- It was fun, but similar to the various Golden Horseshoe shows at Disneyland that can you can see for free. It was a bit more elaborate and had more audience participation (like singing), but overall the effect was the same. The actors/actresses were all really talented and you could tell they really enjoyed performing it.

Food-This was the most disappointing part. I've had better Fried Chicken and Ribs from a grocery store! The salad, bread, and strawberry shortcake were all good, though. And I won't even speak of the corn/green pepper/onion mix - I was expection corn on the cob, so I was greatly disappoined in that. Also, the brochure said you get all you can drink beer and Sangria. Well, the only beer option was Bud Light! I'm not really a beer snob, but that kind of bugged me. Why not regular Bud even?

Overall I think my disappointment in it related to my expectations. Also, I felt kind out of place not being with a big group and not having little kids. If I ever went with a 'Grand Gathering' or my extended family I think it would be a blast, but otherwise I'll skip it for awhile.

Ok, I guess I'm sounding kind of harsh. It wasn't that bad, but I guess I expected $50+ to get you a little more than this show did.

Yup, I was talking about the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. Sorry. Should have specified the name!

Thanks for the rundown. This is disappointing.
