  • New bags.

No, I am not talking about guests at WDW. But after a 3 month delay... the new "Million Dreams" shopping bags are appearing on property. I assume these are similar to DL's....

Those are very nice. If Iremember correctly, they have been using the same yellow bags for at least 6 years now.

Indeed they are the same at DLR.

              Re: New bags.

              I like for two reasons:

              1) They say WDW in big letter instead of Happiest Celebration or whatever. Could have been a lot worse, they could have Year of a Bwaddayadda, or even worse, DisneyParks.

              2) The top handle area is plain white. That may make them look unattractive in that picture, but it means that grease and sweat won't cause the color to run off on your hand. I think I had to wash black ink off my hands a few times with the old bag. So it's a nice touch and in humid Orlando it's also a smart move.

                  Re: New bags.

Given the fact they are shopping bags, I'm going to bite my touge a bit in stating my opinion and just say they are nice to look at.

Except for the vest Mickey is wearing. That cloud design doesn't fit with the rest of his suit.

The yellow bags you refer to were replaced in May 2005 with the Happiest Celebration on Earth bags that had Mickey with a yellow backround on one side and the other was a red/black design like Mickey's shorts and said "Happiest Celebration on Earth"

Those are the bags being phased out as the newer blue bags arrive.

Now if they would just take that stupid DisneyParks logo off the register receipts.

EXACTLY what I was thinking!

Two years ago at The Disney Store they made special purpleish bags for Halloween time with the Dream it. Be it. and kids in costumes on it. Well let's just say that ink came off - quickly!
