  • Can you request a secton?

Just wondering if when booking a resort if you can request either a specific room or few rooms or a section.

We are starting to plan our next trip and were thinking of staying in POP again - we enjoyed it when it was just the two of us and think our daughter would get a kick out of seeing the huge items around the hotel.

when we first stayed there we were in the 70's section on the 3rd floor. we were hoping that we could request a ground floor (because of the stroller) in the 50's section.

we would have loved to have stayed in the 1900's or 1920's but seeing as they haven't seen fit to actually complete the Century as the name states we'll settle for the 50's.

can you request this upon booking or do you have to wait until you get there and see what's available.

we're planning on Feb so I don't think they will be booked full or even half full for that matter.

You can request a section, but there is no guarantee that you will get it. Also, note that some sections that are closer to the food court at the moderate and value resorts charge more, about $20 a night, since they are more convenient. I believe it's the 60's section at Pop, so you should be ok. It never hurts to ask though.

Yoyo's right, it never hurts to ask. And then at check-in ask again. Even if it isn't stated in the reservations system you can always ask for an upgrade at check-in and with my experience they will do their best to see if they can accomodate you.
